Cyber Essentials Plus Update: What You Need to Know

To help UK organisations guard against the most common cyber threats, the National Cyber Security Council (NCSC) and its Cyber Essentials delivery partner, IASME, will update the technical requirements for Cyber Essentials Plus on 24th April 2023.
Whilst nothing to worry about, this update is part of a regular review of the scheme’s technical controls and is designed to ensure that UK organisations remain safe and secure online.
The 2023 update will incorporate only light changes following a major update last year (which marked the biggest update to the scheme since it was first set up in 2014). Mostly, the update provides clarity on the previous update and new guidance for businesses to follow, as well as style and language updates for the sake of clarity.
