About The Role

Littlefish is looking for an Apprentice IT Service Desk Administrator to to provide IT Service Desk support for the IT Service Desk Team when required, and to facilitate the successful communication and management of customer cases, involving third parties, customers and engineers. The role is within the IT Service Desk, and should be looked at as a step into an IT career for the right person.

 

Desired Skills:

  • Ability to form good working relationships with others
  • Attention to detail, organisation and prioritisation
  • Methodical and thorough approach to work, remaining calm under pressure
  • Basic understanding of IT Services with a desire to learn
  • Basic knowledge of Office Packages (Outlook, Word and Excel)

 

Personal Qualities:

  • Shows initiative and a desire to grow the role.
  • Personable, engaging and keen!

 

Desired Qualifications

Maths, English and IT GCSE C or above (or the equivalent).

 

Future Prospects

Permanent position upon completion of the apprenticeship.

 

Things To Consider

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Review tickets
  • Dispatch tickets to appropriate service desk engineers
  • Respond to customers emails regarding technical issues
  • Review all technical enquiries
