The Role

Littlefish are seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join our growing finance team. You will support the CFO as a leading contributor in the Finance department and a business partner to key stakeholders. The individual will be responsible for providing financial planning and analysis support to the business, particularly contract accounting for new and existing business, forecasting and budgeting.


Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide insights to management around financial modelling, forecasts and profitability
  • Preparation of P&L forecasts and annual budgets
  • Contract profitability analysis & project accounting
  • Financial modelling for new contract opportunities
  • Cost management of any major investment projects
  • Finance dashboard and BI design and maintenance
  • Utilise BI tools to provide meaningful insights into the business
  • Review of finance processes to streamline and automate
  • Development of divisional P&Ls and customer profitability analysis
  • Mapping of business processes
  • Key role in the selection, design and implementation of the new ERP system


Essential Skills, Knowledge & Experience

  • Maths & English GCSE or above
  • Qualified or QBE accountant
  • Experience of working in a recurring revenue business
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Contract/project accounting
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel (advanced)
  • Experience of Microsoft Dynamics & Power BI
  • Self-motivated, tenacious, with a proactive and investigative approach to tasks and a drive for results.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbal
  • Strong organisational skills

  • Experience of working in an IT managed services business
  • Practical experience of leveraging Office 365 Apps to automate process and provide BI
  • Experience of implementing a new ERP system
