Littlefish ranks ‘Ones to Watch’ in Sunday Times Best Companies Awards

Littlefish are delighted to announce that we have been named as a ‘Ones to Watch’ organisation in the “Sunday Times 2018 Best Small Companies to Work for” survey.

Achieving the Ones to Watch accolade is an incredibly proud moment in the history of Littlefish, and reflective of the work we put in to help our people be the best that they can be. Further, it contributes to our desire of making Littlefish a ‘go to’ destination to pursue a fulfilling career in IT.  Although internal engagement surveys are already carried out – as our people’s thoughts and feedback is of paramount importance to us and helps us to shape our people centric culture – to also be recognised externally by such a prestigious honour is a fantastic achievement.

Littlefish put people first every time, no matter what, which is reflected through the #peoplematter ethos.

Our Managing Director, Steve Robinson said: “Following a fantastic 2017 for the business, the Ones to Watch accolade is a great way to begin the new year. This award reiterates the sense of the family dynamic that we try to cultivate at Littlefish. We invest heavily in our employees to ensure they not only have the tools and support to complete their roles to a high standard, but they are also invested in individually to progress at a pace and in a direction, that is of mutual benefit. Furthermore, we work incredibly hard to ensure our working environment is one in which our employees want to work and can thrive.”

Having invested in vibrant office space, breakout areas designed for recreation, and organised team socials and family inclusive socials has contributed to the creation of a positive working environment.

Steve further commented: “It’s affirming to know that our values, cultures and ethos are shared throughout the business. The Ones to Watch award is an important one for all our employees and we will continue to work hard and evolve as employers and as a business, as we strive to make the Top 100, the Top 10 and hopefully in the near future, maybe even top the list.”

This award further embeds the new adage that you don’t need to be one of the ‘big players’ in the IT industry to receive such a prestigious recognition. It confirms that we are investing in the right ways to become a sought-after employer.
