Laura Storrs joined Littlefish in 2018 as Finance Director, to provide hands on and strategic leadership of the company’s finances. She leads the Board’s finance and accounting strategy, ensuring it can deliver sustained, profitable growth to responsibly achieve Littlefish’s ambitious financial targets.
Laura has a wealth of experience having worked in accountancy practise for 7 years, before moving into industry, where she spent over a decade at Northcliffe Media (owned by the Daily Mail & General Trust), followed by 2 years as Finance Director of rail industry outsourcer Infra Safety Services (ISS Labour). She is familiar with overcoming the financial and accounting challenges encountered by both large and complex organisations undergoing industry-wide disruption, and those experiencing rapid expansion.
Outside of work, Laura is the proud mother of three boys aged 12, 17 and 20. She holds a black belt in Wado Ryu karate and regularly trains with two of her three sons. A keen sportswoman, she also enjoys cycling and running to underpin her fitness for martial arts, along with obstacle races such as Men’s Health Survival of The Fittest.
A lover of the great outdoors, Laura enjoys relaxing away from the pressures of a demanding career by exploring the Leicestershire countryside with her family, at a slower pace of life aboard her canal boat. A keen traveller, Laura has RV-toured much of North America, and enjoys cooking and eating good food with friends and family.
