Littlefish to provide Single Source Regulations Office managed IT services
The Single Source Regulations Office (SSRO) has selected Littlefish to provide managed IT services.
The SSRO is responsible for the regulatory framework for single source defence contracts, and aims to ensure good value for money is obtained for the UK taxpayer in expenditure on qualifying defence contracts, and single source suppliers are paid a fair and reasonable price.
Littlefish will provide service desk, modern workplace, application and infrastructure support, and end-to-end service management including managing 3rd party IT service providers through its Service Management Office.
Procured through G-Cloud 9, the two-year SSRO contract includes two optional one-year extensions. The rapidly growing Managed IT Services provider will now support SSRO users based at their London HQ and working remotely.
Following the establishment of solid and secure IT system foundations in the early years of the SSRO, conceived and delivered mostly through cloud based services, we are now looking forward to the opportunities for improved user experience and increased exploitation of technology investment afforded by our move to the new supplier.

About SSRO
The Defence Reform Act 2014 created a regulatory framework for single source defence contracts. The SSRO is at the heart of the regulatory regime, issuing statutory guidance, assessing compliance and determining how the regime applies to individual contracts.
The principal statutory aims of The SSRO are to ensure that good value for money is obtained for the UK taxpayer in expenditure on qualifying defence contracts, and that single source suppliers are paid a fair and reasonable price under those contracts.
We’re excited by the prospect of providing SSRO with a truly user focused IT service. Our Littlefish Live web chat function over their secure network will allow SSRO users to interact with the Service Desk on their terms and at a pace they determine, whilst reducing the need and cost associated with on-site support”
